Recovery is a Rebirth.

Sobriety changes everything. After spending so long stuck in an addictive cycle—with your priorities and goals on hold—you begin to participate in the world again.

But as meaningful as this renewed engagement with the world can be, it can also make the reality of starting over feel overwhelming, disorienting, and anxiety-provoking.

Reality sets in. Certain dynamics or situations seem to pick up where they left off. The stress of returning to your place of work. Facing your loved ones that want explanations about what happened. All while also trying to understand who you are, what you need, and what happened to you.

This understanding is the most important thing, in order to prevent relapse or unhealthy behaviors from occurring, once more.

How We Help

We work collaboratively to help you explore the underlying emotions and experiences that contribute to addictive patterns. Using an integrative approach that may include mindfulness, somatic awareness, and trauma-informed care alongside evidence-based therapy, we support you in developing healthier coping strategies and rebuilding a sense of balance and self-trust.

With over five years of direct experience working in substance use programs (Detox, PHP, IOP), I know firsthand just how vulnerable and stressful this time period can be. I also know that without continued maintenance and support, the stress and discomfort associated with this specific time period is the #1 gateway back to substance use, and addiction. My dual licensure in addiction issues (LCADC) and mental health (LCSW) allow me to skillfully address these issues, and intervene.

For Family Members and Loved Ones: because you need help and support, too.

“Addiction is a Family Disease. One person may use, but the whole family suffers.” -Al Anon Core Principle

Behind every client who has struggled with addiction is a loving, concerned family that has felt a sense of grief, powerlessness, and fierce resilience for their loved one to get the help they need. It is my hope to alleviate some of these challenging feelings for you, within our time spent in session.

How We Help:

In sessions, you will not have to “start over” in explaining to us what your loved one is going through. Rather, we work to assist you through a compassionate balance of process and education interventions. Sometimes, this may look like having a non-judgmental space in your world, free of stigma or the pressure to “hold it together”, that you may confide in.

This may also look like a space to explore how you may be of better assistance to your loved one who is currently using or in recovery, through acquiring skills, resources, or tools to be an asset to their recovery, rather than a stressor. I also work with clients to unpack and overcome trauma that has come with a caregiver who is a substance abuse user.

The Services that our clients will have access to:
